Audience enjoyed an evening of divine music. Vocal and instrumental music segment was performed by local music teachers and the finale will be performed by Smt. Rasika Murali.

Cancer Institute Foundation staged veLLOttam (வெள்ளோட்டம்) a Tamil play by Abirami Fine Arts. The play was produced and staged by local Bay Area talents. Abirami Fine Arts has staged many successful plays including mega productions Ponniyin Selvan and Sivakamiyin Sabatham. In 2016 Abirami Fine Arts staged Sivakamiyin Sabatham for CIF as one of the key fundraiser events for the year.The play was very well received and the audience were very appreciative of the acting, costing, music, script & direction. veLLOttam was about happy times of Pandian rulers in Madurai during Tamil Sangam period and is centered around the golden period of Nedunchezhian (நெடுஞ்செழியன்) II and Ukkirap Peruvazhuthi (உக்கிரப் பெருவழுதி). The play is written and directed by Bagirathi Seshappan, Music & Assistant Direction by Sridharan Minor and Stage Management by Venu Subramaniam.
Proceeds from this event will be used to fund operational costs of Cancer Screening Centers. Please donate generously.
